LP FAQs

Welcome to the RedPill LP FAQs!

Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about participating in the Liquidity Pool (LP) and earning rewards. Stay informed and maximize your benefits with RedPill.

What is the basic logic behind LP data calculation and updates?

RedPill LP operates on an hourly snapshot basis, with Pill Points rewards also distributed hourly. We determine your rewards based on snapshots and the time of your last operation.

For example, if you join the LP at 18:39 and a snapshot is taken at 19:00, your reward for that hour will be calculated based on your active participation for 21 minutes.

Are the Pill Points shown in the New Unclaimed Pill Points section the same as my earned rewards?

The Pill Points shown in the New Unclaimed Pill Points section are estimated rewards based on your Total Value Locked (TVL) at the last snapshot. This is a preliminary estimate and not reflect the actual rewards you will receive.

Why aren’t my Pill Points increasing if I have joined the LP? Does this mean I am not earning any rewards?

The Pill Points shown are estimated rewards based on your TVL during the last snapshot. If your TVL was zero at the last snapshot, the estimated Pill Points will not increase. However, do not worry; at the next snapshot, your rewards will be calculated and added to your rewards based on the actual TVL at that time. And the estimated Pill Points will start to increase again.

How are my rewards calculated if I remove my LP?

If you remove your LP, the next snapshot will only consider your actual TVL at that time for rewards calculation.

For example, if you provided LP worth 100 USD and removed 50 USD at 18:39, the 19:00 snapshot will calculate your rewards for that hour based on the remaining $50. If you remove the entire 100 USD at 18:39, your reward for that hour will be zero.

Do I need to claim my Pill Points rewards, and what happens if I don’t?

Yes, you need to claim your Pill Points and then it will be added to your account balance. We provide a sufficiently long validity period to avoid losses. The claim period for each season's Pill Points rewards extends until the end of the following season.

For example, you can still claim Season 1 rewards during Season 2, but any unclaimed rewards from Season 1 will be forfeited when Season 3 starts.
